Pick you up from your hotel/apartment at 19:00PM by our private English-speaking guide and driver and drive to Liyuan Theatre. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show during 19:30-20:40PM and then drive back to your hotel/apartment.
Introduction
Peking Opera is a national treasure with a history of over 200 years and has a profound influence in China. The Opera bears absolutely no resemblance to western opera but reflects an authentic flavor of the city. There are four main types of roles: sheng (male), dan (female), jing (with painted facial make-up, male), chou (clown, male or female). The characters may be loyal or treacherous, beautiful or ugly, good or bad.
